Tour of “4 days and 3 nights”:

-Here are the details of the tour:

1st day: Morning departure at 8 o’clock from your hotel in Marrakech to cross the High Atlas Mountains. After the Tichka pass, you leave the main road and take a side road to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, which you can visit after lunch. Later the road continues to Ouarzazate town, famous with its Studios of cinema. After we cross the Skoura Oasis, where numerous ancient Kasbahs, some sadly in ruins, stand amongst the palm trees. From here, the route takes us through Kelaat M’gouna, the valley of Roses, with a stop to see cosmetic articles locally-made from the valley’s abundant roses. You stop in the Dades gorges in a hotel.

-P.S. The Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou is the most famous Kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage site.  It is also well-known as being the backdrop to many Hollywood blockbusters.

2nd day: After breakfast, there is time to walk by the river before continuing by the 4˟4 to Todgha gorges. Lunch will either be here in the Todgha Gorges or later at on the road. You drive via the Ziz Valley, and the towns of Erfoud and Rissani. In the afternoon you can take a one hour camel ride in the Sahara. The sunset from the top of Erg Chebbi dunes is spectacular (200m) and afterwards there is dinner and night in a traditional nomad tent at the foot of the dunes.

3rd day: If you wake up early enough, you can watch the spectacle of the sunrise, when the colour of the dunes and the play of shadows are an awesome sight. The itinerary continues to the Draa Valley via the cillages of Rissani, Alnif, Tazarine and stop on the N’Qob for lunch (Capital of Ait Atta Tribes). In the afternoon the journey takes us to Tansikht, to drive along the ancient caravan route to discover the real Draa Valley, with its huge palm trees and ancient villages. At the end of the afternoon, we reach the hotel for spending the night.

4th day: After breakfast we drive to west and return to Ouarzazate, via the Anti-Atlas and the pass of Tizi-n-Tinififte (1700m). Once in Ouarzazate, we take an unpaved track to the Fint Oasis nestling among the mountains, which once served as the crossroads of caravans, provides a hidden delight. After having lunch in the High Atlas Mountains, the return to Marrakech will complete the trip at the end of the afternoon.
